Replaced old Frigidaire with new unit. This model looks way better inside and out as far as looks. More features than my old unit. Seems they have cut some corners by going with smaller gauge wire on the dish racks and rack slides seem to be cheaper. Needs to be pushed in perfectly square with unit or it binds up. Seems to clean well though. Dishes are completely dry when removed.

We have discovered in the short time we have had this unit that washing normally soiled dishes requires the heavy cycle, rather than the normal cycle, to get dishes clean. After that epiphany, we are much more satisfied with the unit. I also feel the flatware tray is a bit of wasted space and doesn™€™t allow for taller glassware underneath. As the review title indicates, we are getting used to the new unit, and it is now getting dishes clean, at least

Top Rack Adjuster Failed Multiple Times. No help from support desk.

We bought this Dishwasher 5/29/23. The top rack has adjusters on each side where you can raise or lower the rack. The key piece is a plastic wedge with a metal pin in it. This part glides up and down through a v shaped channel that redirects it to the high or low position. A couple months ago the piece that glides got sideways in the channel on the left side which dropped abruptly making the entire rack severly out of level. The piece got stuck and the rack would no longer move. I had to disassemble it to reposition the piece. It worked for a while but then happened again and again. After the third time I left the piece out and zip tied the adjuster fixed in the high position. I know, not the best solution. I called support on 10/30/23. They told me the Rack Adjuster is non Functional (their term) Here is the description I found on Frigidaires website "Nonfunctional parts such as, but not limited to, plastics, internal and external finishes including porcelain enamel, knobs and dials. " I argued with the support desk that this component is functional but they did not agree. They said I would need to pay $93.49 for the part. This was an expensive dishwasher and I also bought the extended warranty. They should make it right. I am hoping that someone at Frigidaire could make it right by sending me a new left side Rack Adjuster.

I definitely love my frigidaire dishwasher. I havent had a dishwasher in over a year and now this makes doing dishes fun, I love how easy it is to use and the variety of settings it offers. The only thing I will say I dont like is because of how I have my dishwasher its hard to see the time of how long is left on the wash because its on the lip of the door. If I were to adjust it so the time would show the dishwasher would look weird.

The delivery was spot on for the dishwasher. The dishwasher itself was not quite what I expected but it is stainless steel, has third rack that is plastic, and no handle, which I was looking for. The unit is very sleek. It was very quiet on the first run but if I had been in a show room picking it out, I may have went for a little more expensive one. Overall right now...it is good. Lastly, if you are not handy, let them install. Not an easy install and we were just replacing to a new unit so lines were already present.

Straight-forward installation. Bottom basket dish tines don't work very well with our plates, angle is wrong. Also bottom basket is a bit lower than the Bosch we had in our last house so a bit of a stretch loading it. The top rack for silverware is mostly wasted, as we normally would put flat dishes there. The silverware basket needs wider openings like the Bosch for more versatility in loading. It's quiet when operating, controls are easy to understand and use. It's a tad overpriced for what it is but then everything is since the early 20s.

I've had this dishwasher for about a month. I bought it to replace an older, very similar, Frigidaire Gallery model. The silverware basket on the old one was better. This new one has a taller basket, making it fill up faster it due to the silverware being more vertical. I may switch back to the older basket since I kept it.I like that this model has a mini top rack (top rack out of three racks) for small containers and lids. It doesn't seem like that area gets rinsed very well though, so I'm not sure I'll use it much. My heated dry feature either isn't working or doesn't work very well. My dishes are still wet several hours after the cycle finishes. A couple things about the bottom rack: I wish the prongs on the bottom rack lined up from front to back so I could more easily put long items in that space. It's clear there are two rows for plates, but that design doesn't accommodate longer items. The wheels to move the rack in and out come off the track much more easily than my old model. Kind of annoying. The top rack prongs are versatile and well thought out. I like that some will fold down if not needed/in the way. The stemware "clips" are a nice feature. It seems like I can fit more on the top rack of the new model, a big plus for all of my small lunchbox containers.I really like the green or blue light that shines on the floor to indicate if the cycle is running or complete. Not necessary but pretty cool. Over all, I'd probably have stuck with my old model until it kicked the bucket, but this one is nice.
